I picked up TheBalms Balms Away Eye Makeup Breakup. I heard about the "'Tube" that balms worked the best at removing stubborn and waterproof eye makeup, such as mascara and eye-liner. I always find that I have leftover mascara all around my eyes, even after rubbing with a cotton round and my micellar water. I've noticed that all the tugging is starting to wear at my eyelashes; that I have more randomly falling out days later. This seemed to be the answer to my prayers!
The product in the tin is a very clear, thick balm that reminds me of vaseline, despite the fact I have not been near a tub of it in years. At the same time it feels nice, in a gooey way. I gently rub a small amount onto my eyes, making sure to massage it into my eyelashes. It advises you to just wipe away with a clean, dry cloth, but I prefer to follow up with a light swipe of my micellar water.
The result is the removal of all my eye makeup; there was no a single bit left! The balm left my eye area feeling super soft and nourished. My eyelashes were still slightly glossy, though all the product had definitely been removed. I thought that there would be a chance that the Balms Away may have irritated my sensitive eyes, but thankfully it did not! TheBalm Balms Away Eye Makeup Breakup can be purchased at Superdrug for £15.49. Pricey, I know! But I have no regrets. I truly think that this is a great product, for me, as it has made my life so much easier.
Let me know: Have you tried TheBalm Balms Away Eye Makeup Breakup, or have you found another balm cleanser that works better?
