I'm in the middle of shopping for new products; sort of preparing for the transition from winter to spring. Instead of picking up deep burgundies and warm chocolates, I have started to pick up pastel pinks and vanillas. I cannot wait of the warmer weather to roll in.
MAC frost lipstick in the shade Fabby was one of those new seasonal additions I picked up recently. Fabby is a really muted rosy pink shade with a frost finish. The draw point, for me, is the frost sheen gives kind of a golden overlay to the lips. The golden tone just adds an extra dimension, and helps brighten up any makeup look.
For being a frost finish, the colour pigmentation is quite opaque with a single swipe. The texture is not that creamy, and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'd describe it more as very similar to that of a MAC matte finish; creamy and not glossy.
I feel that Fabby is one of MACs more overlooked shades; passed over in favour of the more hyped about lipsticks such as Velvet Teddy and Ruby Woo. I, personally, feel that this is the type of colour that is very me. The muted rosy pinks are more of my everyday colour, so this should serve me very well from now onwards.
What are your favourite MAC lipsticks that you feel are under appreciated?
