University exams are over, all this semesters coursework's finished, homework assigned, it's safe to say the Christmas Holidays start now!! This semester of university has been so much harder which is why I had to stop posting for a while. Regardless, I'm back now and ready to roll!
Special times, such as the Holidays, call for lots of special nail art. It's been quite cold here in Scotland, so I thought I'd reflect that with some snowflake nail art. I made the design a bit different by reversing the colour combination on my ring finger.
The nail polish I used for my base, and the main star of the whole nail art, is the Formula X Nail Colour in the shade Desire. It's a deep, dark navy blue colour that is a smooth cream finish. I usually find it very hard to work with such dark colours, but this went on very smoothly. The colour is also very pigmented as I only had to use two thin coats to get complete opacity. This is only the second nail polish from the Formula X collection that I've ever tried, but so far I'm really enjoying them. The white polish used for the detailing and for my ring finger is from Collection.
It's been such a long time since I've painted my nails, nevermind any nail art. I've missed it. It used to be a small creative outlet for me. This has really lit a fire in me to start doing more.
What's your favourite style of winter-themed nail art?
