I am sooo sorry; please forgive me! I had no intention of being absent for nearly TWO MONTHS! I just got so busy with University and other stuff that the blog fell to the wayside. I had assignments practically every week and then I started to have three rehearsals a week for the musical I was in. It just seemed like I never had a down moment! Needless to say that I am back and ready to roll. I have one week left of University classes and then I'm off for around five months :)
Anyway moving on to the good stuff...
I'm still slowly working my way through the big haul I did during their Black Friday giveaway. During the haul, I purchased a Blushing Heart blusher(in a separate post) and the Goddess of Love highlighter.
The Goddess of Love is based upon the same design as their Blushing Hearts blushers. The have the same outer packaging; a stiff and sturdy cardboard box in the shape of a heart. The Goddess of Love's lid, however is white in colour, also with the reflective purple foil writing. The base that the highlighter sits in is a dulled gold foil effect.
I find that the shad changes depending on which light I use to view it. In natural lighting I find it to have a slightly cooler tone, and it almost looks like the shimmer is iridescent. Under lighting, it appears much more of a warm peachy champagne colour, with silver shimmer. It's so hard to describe!
I have such pale skin that it is very natural on me. It adds no colour to the tops of my cheekbones, but just gives them that natural glow when the light hits just right!
Does anyone else agree that this is the most amazing, affordable highlighter out there?
