Korean Skincare Mini-Haul

Korean skincare is super popular right now, everyone is loving it. They are some of the 'it' products of this year. There are now so many places that you can get K-beauty products, Asos and Sephora being two of them. But, a couple of weeks ago Tk Maxx ran a big K-beauty Event which is where I went a bit wild. I mean, K-beauty is great as it is but at a discounted price? Sign me up!  Some of the brands I seen were; my favourite K-beauty brand Etude House, Tony Moly and Elizavecca. Enough of me rambling though, and get into the mini-haul!

Etude House Cherry Lip Gel Patch
I have seen products all like this all over Instagram, literally all over. Every beauty tutorial now seems to start with one of these patches being applied, so I was intrigued. It is supposed to leave my lips 'soft, supple and smooth'.

Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask in Pearl
Everyone knows what a sheet mask is, I don't think I need to say anything else. The pearl essence in this sheet mask is supposed to brighten up any dull skin, as well as smooth it out.

MediHeal Line Friends P.D.F.A.C Dressing Ampoule Mask
Another sheet mask, I can never have too many of these. This one looks quite scary and very medical official, but it is still just a normal sheet mask. It has Portulaca Oleracea extract and salicylic acid concentrate to quickly help any skin problem areas.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask
The shining star of my mini-haul; the Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. The youtube videos of beauty gurus trying this specific product out are everywhere. If you watch beauty videos on the regular then I am willing to bet that you have seen a review of it. I am so excited to try this out, I cannot wait.

K-beauty is so exciting! I cannot wait to try these products out. Tk Maxx still have some products left over when ever I pop in, so if you missed the official event still check out your local store.

Have you ever tried any K-beauty products? What is your favourite?

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.  Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I kn

Totally Fabby MAC Lipstick!

I'm in the middle of shopping for new products; sort of preparing for the transition from winter to spring. Instead of picking up deep burgundies and warm chocolates, I have started to pick up pastel pinks and vanillas. I cannot wait of the warmer weather to roll in.  MAC frost lipstick in the shade Fabby was one of those new seasonal additions I picked up recently. Fabby is a really muted rosy pink shade with a frost finish. The draw point, for me, is the frost sheen gives kind of a golden overlay to the lips. The golden tone just adds an extra dimension, and helps brighten up any makeup look.  For being a frost finish, the colour pigmentation is quite opaque with a single swipe. The texture is not that creamy, and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'd describe it more as very similar to that of a MAC matte finish; creamy and not glossy. I feel that Fabby is one of MACs more overlooked shades; passed over in favour of the more hyped about lipstic

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.
