I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with the Maybelline Color Tattoos! Quite often during the summer I will just pop some of the On and On Bronze onto my lids and I will be good to go. When I was on a last minute dash to Walgreens the day before my flight home from Florida, I spotted some of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chromes hidden on a bottom shelf at the BACK of the beauty aisles. I was so excited that it flew into my basket.
I picked up the shade Beige Luster, which I think is very compatible to my fave On and On Bronze. It a very light neutral brown shade with, of course, a metallic finish. The packaging is very much like a lipstick tube; very sleek and simple. The most unusual part is that you apply the product with a doe foot applicator.
The formula is a little strange. On the applicator the product looks really chunky and kind of like it's just about to separate. But when you swatch it, the Eye Chrome becomes the smoothest, creamiest formula ever. Even better, is that it driest extremely fast. On the other hand that means that you only have a short time to blend it out. But once it dries down, you would expect that it would be going anywhere!
However, I found that after a few minutes on my lids the vibrancy and the metallic finish of the Eye Chrome was fading fast. It was just starting to look a bit dull, and like I'd applied a basic shimmery taupe eye-shadow to my lids. I'm not sure if it's just the product in general, but it became quite patchy and streaky looking.

What do you think? Will the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome be a big hit - or a miss? Personally, for me it was a miss, but I'd love to hear other's experiences!
