Today, I'm Taking about Revlon Lip Butters. I think that they are by far the best reasonably priced lipsticks available, which is why I own multiple shades. I only buy more if I truly love it!
I currently have, in my collection (from top to bottom): Juicy Papaya, Sorbet, Sweet Tart and Creme Brulee. I originally won four in a competition, but lost two a while back in America (so sad!). I recently purchased Sweet Tart and Creme Brulee, which was the inspiration behind this post.
As you can see, the shades that I have are mainly pink and nude shades becuase they are what I love the most. In the same order as before, the swatches are: Juicy Papaya, Sorbet, Sweet Tart and Creme Brulee. The pigmentation on these are phenomenal, especially Sorbet. It's so bright and in your face; I love it. The formulation is very creamy (hence Lip Butters!) and lasts for hours on me.
Creme Brulee
A nice basic nude colour. It's got a bit more of a golden hue than I originally thought that it would have, but it's not too strong. It has tiny golden micro glitter in it giving off a shimmer effect.
Juicy Papaya
A nude that is a bit more on the peachy side. In the lip swatch it appears almost pink, but in real life it has got a more peachy, coral tint to the colour.
Sweet Tart
A bright, almost Barbie pink colour. It is in the same shade range as Sorbet, but there is a difference between them. This is a very light, very summery shade.
Sorbet
A deep pink, with a berry undertone. It is a lot deeper that Sweet tart, and is very much darker too. It makes for a very bold statement lipstick.
Words can honestly not describe the love that I have for these; they are my go to lipsticks. I just grab one in a hurry and throw it into my bag. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future!
