Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in #014 Rosepearl

I'm a huge fan of makeup collection videos over on YouTube! I like seeing all the different products everyone has and how they store them. Do they have the Alex Nine Drawers? Muji Storage? How do they set up their desks? You start to notice a pattern in the products that everyone has.

One of the products that I picked up on were the  Revlon Colorburst Lip Glosses. I noticed that most people kept them in their acrylic storage; that they fit just perfectly in height and length to create layers in a drawer.

I was gutted as I could not find them in any of the Superdrugs or Boots where I live, and I thought that perhaps they were discontinued. I know; why didn't I just move on? There are plenty of lip glosses in the world. The Revlon Colorburst Lip Glosses were just calling to me!

I struck luck at Tk Maxx! As soon as I seen it I just snapped it up. There was no doubt in my mind that I was buying it.

The shade is in #014 Rosepearl. It's a dusty rose pink colour with a brown undertone to it. It has a subtle golden shimmer to it. It's not sticky feeling, and makes my lips feel very smooth. I thought that it might have felt slightly gritty due to the shimmer, but not at all! It's a very pigmented shade that's not too outrageous!

Anyone know where I can easily find more of these?

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…
