Running through fields of Pink Clover

Whist I was doing some more sale shopping I stopped into my favourite Tk Maxx store to see if there was anything worth buying. I stalked up and down the makeup aisle for a while debating whether I actually needed anything when I came across this little palette.

This is Elizabeth Arden's Color Intrigue Eye-shadow Duo in Pink Clover. I tried doing some research on it and couldn't really find anything; just a short entry on Temptalia about it being the brand's Fall It is the perfect size to throw in my bag or to take travelling as it fits in the palm of my hand. It is all sleek black packaging and inscribed with the quote 'To be beautiful and natural is the birthright of every woman'. While being a really nice quote it is also relevant to this duo as the colours are very natural and everyday.

There is a soft warm baby pink and a medium taupe brown in the duo. Both appear to be more of a satin-like finish. They blend very nicely and are smooth in texture. They are just very nice to throw in for a simple everyday look.

This will definitely be travelling with me to Orlando as it ticks all my boxes: small, simple and natural. At only costing me £2 it won't really matter if it gets broken or lost during transit.

I classify this as 'an oldie and a goodie', but what do you think?

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…
