Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay Palette

I wasn't really going to purchase this, at the time, but when I went shopping after Christmas they only had the five left in my local Debenhams. I was pushed into buying this instead of the original Naked palette with phrases such as 'limited edition' and 'you can get the Naked palette anytime!"  The palette itself feels very sturdy, like I could take it travelling and not have to worry about any of the shadows smashing. The golden edging detail with the black polka dots make the palette look quite edgy and modern. The inside reveals a nice oversized mirror with a cute little quote in the corner. There are fifteen eyeshadows in total; the majority are a warm neutral tone but there are a few pops of colour. The first five shadows are: Blonde, Bathwater, Skimp, Steady and Punk. Blonde is a very pale beige shade with a pinkish iridescent shimmer to it. With it being so pale I really had to dig my brush into it to achieve any type of pigmentation...

Bite Beauty Frozen Berries Matte Creme Lipstick in Elderberry

I've been siting on the limited edition Bite Beauty Frozen Berries Matte Creme Lipstick in the shade Elderberry since late summer when I picked it up at Sephora. I have been loving it since the start of the Autumn/Winter season; the colour didn't feel appropriate for use until then. Elderberry was one of the only shades left in the collection, but that was fine as I was totally on a dark berry/ purple lip colour kick.

Festive Cranberry Face Mask

I feel that the older you get the more you anticipate and look forward to the holiday season. There is just such an indescribable feeling when Christmas stuff starts to appear in store displays, and I must admit, I start to go a little mad. To me, holiday season prep begins in October. I'm not starting my official holiday gift shopping until nearer to the end of November, so I popped into my local Lush store to get a pick me up. There was so much holiday stuff there that I went a bit mental just smelling everything. I picked up a couple of things, but I want to focus on one item in particular.

Coveted MAC Cinderella

Here in Dundee, we were very fortunate to have a MAC counter opened up in our Debenhams beauty hall after the whole Cinderella collection had already been snapped up. Due to that, they received a whole shipment of the collection in on their first day in operation. I was too late to pick up any of the lip products, but managed to get my hands on this which I had also had my eye on.

BareMinerals 'In the Spotlight'

The bareMinerals 'In the Spotlight' was one of those gifts that you really wanted to buy back at Christmas but something else caught your eye. Then your all sad because it was limited edition and you can't buy it anymore. I was very fortunate to find this in my local Tk Maxx; unlike some others I got that second chance to buy this even after it became no longer available. The original retail price was £49.00, but it was reduced down t0 £29.99!

How I got super soft skin!

I was very lucky to be offered the chance to review the Magnitone Lucid**, a facial cleansing brush. Magnitone partnered up with Pixie Lott to create a new limited Edition Magnitone Lucid in a hot pink colour. I had always wanted a facial cleansing brush, but the price of a Clarisonic put me off. My original plan being to wait until I went to America in August and buying one there (it works out cheaper due to the exchange rate). Once I seen the Magnitone Lucid my train of thought went: cheaper than Clarisonic + limited edition + pink = take my money! Yeah....I'm easily swayed.
