Of Love and Lipstick

Let me start by stating: I love Winter! The chunky knits, tartan blanket scarves, and oodles of hot chocolate become my new norm. Christmas preparations come into full swing and everyone becomes super festive. When I think of what type of lipstick I typically gravitate towards during Winter, I see deep dark reds, rich berry tones, and dark nudes. There are five lipsticks in particular that I have found myself reaching for more during the current and past Winters. And they're all tried and tested, nothing brand new or just discovered.

This is Halloween! Halloween! HALLOWEEN! Finally October has graced us with her presence, and I could not be happier. This is my time of year; when the leaves start to change and the air gets crisp. It just makes me so happy, I don't even care that the year is close to its finish. With that being said, I have found myself to be really stump in a slump. I've got a bit of a writer's block, a lack of 'oomph', if you will. I've been doing a fair bit, only to be unsatisfied with the end product. After this, I'm going to take a couple of days too remind me of why I enjoy this so much.  But anywho, you're here not because you want to read my rambling, but because of my monthly favourites. I feel like this month I really used some good solid products but these at the best of them.

Hey I've been wanting to show you guys my desk setup for a while now. I thought that I'd wait to get my new furniture first. I have not had a new desk in years; before this I was using a hand-me-down from my younger cousins that only had three tiny drawers. I can safely say I've upgraded to a Micke desk and the Alex Nine Drawer Unit.
