First Impression - Formula X Shifter 'Iconic'

I nearly walked past this beauty before I realised what it actually was! Formula X is the Sephora brand nail polish, obviously only available at Sephora stores. I could have waited until I went to Florida this August, but it was only £1 which made it cheaper than if bought out of Sephora.

This is part of Spehora's shifters nail lacquers, which are duochromes. I purchased the shade 'Iconic' which is a cross between an emerald green (the picture above) and a gold (the picture below). It's a really interesting reflex between the two. I have no other colour even similar to this; it's a perfect addition to my collection.

The pigmentation of this nail lacquer is amazing. After one coat the nail was completely opaque, but I put two coats on as it is my norm. I added a layer of topcoat on top for extra shininess. This manicure lasted me nearly a whole week; very impressive as I am quite heavy handed.

What do you guys think - yay or not your type?

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…
