June Favourites

It's the end of the month, which means that it time for June Favourites!

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3
This has been coined as the perfect dupe for the Naked 3 palette. I love the pinky taupe shades in the palette, I find myself reaching for it more and more!

Rimmel Stay Matte
I may have not long picked this new foundation up, but after wearing it everyday it has quickly became a favourite. I like the way it sits on my skin and the mattifying effect, which rarely needs powdering.

MAC Viva Glam II
Viva Glam II is my perfect 'my lips but better' lipstick. It's a pinky-beige colour with a satin finish. The formula is creamy and matte; without feeling drying.

MAC Satin Blush in Dame
Dame is a cooled toned pink blush, but I find that it also leans a bit purple. It's very wearable and not too much 'in your face'. I find that Dame pairs perfectly with Viva Glam II,

What's been your favourite products for the month of June?

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!

Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.
