Simple Summer Flower

I've been working around with a lot of different nail designs recently that I thought I'd share with you all.

This design is are recent favourite! The design is so easy to do, which makes it quick to apply when I'm in a hurry. The bright orange and yellow are what makes it so summery, though the colours can easily be swapped out for what ever your liking at the time.

These are the three polishes that I used for the design;

Sephora by OPI in 'Hi-Def', is a creamy opaque tangerine orange shade that is super glossy.

Models Own Scented Polish in 'Banana Split', is a creamy pale yellow colour which is scented. It reminds me of the little sugar foam banana sweet you'd get in your penny mixes! This polish tends to be streaky which means multiple coats are necessary.

Collection Nail Polish in 'White Out', was part of the Mardi Gras collection so I'm not sure if the exact one is still sold, but if not then there is no doubt an alternative in the Collection range. This also tends to be quite streaky if applied to the whole nail.

Got that summer feeling yet?

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!
