Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you all have an amazing Halloween. Halloween fell off my radar this year, what with me being preoccupied with University dissertation work. But, even so, I still have this special post for you all.

Travel Blog: Epcot

Part of the line up of scheduled posts that were due to go live during my vacation, was a travel blog outlining the highlights of each day. The subsequent problems with Blogger put an end to that idea, but I thought to myself 'what's topping me for writing them now asa reflection?' So here is the first of my Disney Travel Blog series; starting with Epcot!

My Travel Makeup Bag

Incase you didn't know I'm heading back to Florida next month! Going home to Disney World! Even though it will be swelteringly hot, I will be be wearing makeup. I'll be taking lots of photos, as usual, and my skin is not the best au natural.

Holiday Makeup

I know lots of people have already done their version of this post since summer is nearing it's end, but I still have to go on holiday. I seem to have left my summer holiday until the last possible moment.  As I'm going to Florida, I have been given quite a high luggage allowance, but I plan on bringing back A LOT! This means that I have to be rather scrimping with what goes in as too much will leave little space to bring back. I probably still have too much!

Almost a month until Disney!

Oh my god, I can't believe that in roughly a month I'll be back at the most magical place on earth Disney World! I could die of a happiness overload.

Under the Sea...

A new day dawns and with it comes another set of Disney nails.

We're All Mad Here

Super cute Alice in Wonderland nail art inspired by the Cheshire cat. Any Cheshire Cat inspired nails have to have the iconic pink and purple swirled stripes; it's just like a must. Another iconic part that I had to include was the cheeky half moon grin; it used to give me the creeps when I was younger.

Get the Disney Look: Anna

Alexander McQueen blue corset , £1,545 / Monsoon black ankle boots , £93 / Niclaire black leather purse , £130 / Tiffany & Co. 18k earrings , £930 / MARC BY MARC JACOBS gold initial jewelry , £150 / Heart pendant necklace , £33 / Urban Decay lipstick , £15 Another Disney post!! These make me sooo excited for Disney World in August. I decided to do a casual Anna style, from the hit movie that everybody loves 'Frozen'. Did everyone hear that a Frozen short 'Frozen Fever' is to sow before the new live action Cinderella movie in March.

Get the Disney Look: Jasmine

American Apparel Core hoodie  £40 / Wallis short sleeve top , £14 / Petite jeans , £76 / Easy spirit shoes , £35 / Tignanello backpack , £71 / Turquoise jewelry , £39 /  Wallis gold earrings , £3.30 / House of Harlow 1960 sunglasses , £99  University has just started up with a bang! Two essays in the next couple of weeks. I need to get me a bunch of posts written to schedule as my precious time is going to dwindle quickly. The next in my 'Get the Disney Look' series.  It's based on Jasmine from the Disney film Aladdin. I love this one as it is all turquoise and gold; my two favourite colours in the world. I seem to LIVE in these colours during the summer.

Brand Special: Etude House!

I can't remember when I first became aware of the Korean beauty brand 'Etude House', but DO remember being in absolute awe of their super cute packaging. It's all very girly and pink.  Before Christmas, as I was doing some research, I discovered that months earlier Etude house had brought out a collaboration with Disney. To me this was a match made in heaven. In the collab, there were four sub collections that were each based upon a Disney princess; Snow White, Belle, Cinderella and Jasmine.  After a thorough look on eBay I discovered that some pieces of the collection was available; making me squee with happiness.

Get the Disney Look: Elsa

A riella Couture Sky Blue Gown , £725  / Giuseppe Zanotti high heel sandals , £1,045 / Tom ford Jennifer c lutch, £1,095 / Marchesa snowflake diamond ring , £6,555 / Allurez white gold snowflake necklace , £1,009 / Marc Jacobs daisy perfume , £52 / Topshop nail polish , £5 Next in the Disney series is Elsa, from one of the best Disney films 'Frozen'. This is my most recent collage; I quite literally finished this less than an hour ago. Elsa is considered to be one of the stronger females in the Disney franchise, teaching girls to not hide who they are (and that they don't need a prince to be amazing!).

Looking Back at 2014

I just had to comment that 2014 has been an awesome year; full of good moments with little sadness. There are the small moments such as the birth of the best kitten in the world Oliver (who likes to believe he the King of the World), starting second year of University after passing all of my exams, seeing Avenue Q (after wanting to see it for a while), performing ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ in March, and many more. Then there was my hol iday to Florida in June, which was the best experience ever. I don’t care if people see it as a childish place, it is the most amazing place ever. It was so saddening to come back to reality after the two weeks ended. One of 2014’s resolutions was to be more outgoing. As you can see, I started blogging in October. In the beginning, it was the most terrifying thing ever; to put yourself out there for all to see. Now, I find it has become more of relaxing hobby (providing to remember to schedule posts to upload when they are supposed to). Here...

New Desk Setup

Hey I've been wanting to show you guys my desk setup for a while now. I thought that I'd wait to get my new furniture first. I have not had a new desk in years; before this I was using a hand-me-down from my younger cousins that only had three tiny drawers. I can safely say I've upgraded to a Micke desk and the Alex Nine Drawer Unit.

Get the Disney Look: Rapunzel

Bandeau dress  £225 / Miu Miu platform ankle boots  £600 / Franchi hard clutch  £34 / Oval ring  £75 / Blue Nile pendant jewelry   £180   A different take on my prior Rapunzel look. As with the other, it was inspired by Rapunzel from the Disney movie 'Tangled'.

Hi Y'all! I decide with it being December 1st (!!!) to make some gift guides. I never thought that they'd end up being so time consuming; what with having to search for all the items.
