Happy New Year to you all!!! May 2015 be AMAZING!

And onto the first post of the year...

Back to my Disney series with one of my favorite looks. It's (obviously) based on Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid'.

Look at the dress; I mean have you ever seen anything as perfect for the character than that. It's green and the sequins shimmer which is very reminiscent of how the scales on a tail would be imagined. Purple shoes and clutch mimic the colour of her shells, and pair well with the shades of green in the dress. Gold jewelry with shell motifs are a must, as well as pearls. Then there is her iconic red lipstick. The picture of the model with the red hair is what I see as the best 'style' for the outfit (and how cute is the frame!).

Definitely one of my favorite collages, so far. What do you think? What's your favorite 'Little Mermaid' movie? I personally love all three of the Disney versions.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

Farewell to Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks

As you may, or may not, know Lime Crime are discontinuing their Unicorn Lipsticks. Such a sad thing, I know. I remember first hearing of the lipstick from a family member who had one in their collection. I always promised myself that one day, I would have a Unicorn Lipstick. When I seen their Instagram post about the discontinue, I immediately went onto their website and bought not one or two, but THREE Unicorn Lipstick. Let me tell you I have never been happier; their are no post buy regrets on these babies!
