Of Love and Lipstick

On Saturday, I had the honour of attending the Fashion Live! event at my local shopping centre as a blogger. This was my first event as a blogger, and I have to say: what an experience! At the event there was both fashion masterclasses and beauty demonstrations. I was only able to attend of a short time, due to a prior engagement, but I was so sad to leave.

I thought I'd do another get ready with me; the first for this year! I was going to an outdoorsy summer party which I thought would be a fun 'subject', as such. I kept my face makeup very simple: L'Oreal True Match foundation; Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart Blusher; Essence Make Brows Wow! Kit; Benefit Boi-ing concealer, and bareMinerals Mineral Veil. The look was finishes with my MAC cremesheen lipstick in Creme Cup; which was very subtle as to now drag attention from they eyes.

These make me sooo excited for Disney World in August. I decided to do a casual Anna style, from the hit movie that everybody loves 'Frozen'. Did everyone hear that a Frozen short 'Frozen Fever' is to sow before the new live action Cinderella movie in March.

I seem to LIVE in these colours during the summer.

This is my most recent collage; I quite literally finished this less than an hour ago. Elsa is considered to be one of the stronger females in the Disney franchise, teaching girls to not hide who they are (and that they don't need a prince to be amazing!).

Cruella De Ville, Cruella De Ville, If she doesn't scare you; no evil thing will! Hey Guys! The latest Disney look is Cruella De Ville from the '101 Dalmatians' series. there were TV shows, animated movies, live-action movies and sequels, which made this one of the Disney greatests.

Hi guys! New glitter lips to share! I had a bot of a 'Frozen' movie marathon over the past three days while I finished some more University work. You could say that it was was made me reach for the light iridescent blue glitter. I was inspired by Elsa's dazzling transformation scene during 'Let it go' where she forms herself a new dress with her icy powers. The scene is packed full of shimmer and glitter, which is perfect inspiration. Instead of using a lipstick as my base I used The Body Shop's Born Lippy Balm Stick in Plum. I applied the fine loose glitter with a cotton bud, using small dabbing motions and pressing my lips together. The finished look ended up resulting in glitter lips that moved a bit compared to before. The balm made the glitter spread out from my lips a bit, so I'll probably go back to using lipstick again. Hi Guys, Tonight I went to see the local production of 'Avenue Q' that some of the members of the theater society that I belong to are in, and let me say, it was fantastic! The musical numbers were some of the funniest I've ever heard. There were some parts that made me flush with slight embarrassment, and moments that feel warm

One of my newer purchases has been the Barry M Lip Paint. When I bought some for my cosuins birthday in September I noticed one in very different packaging. When I opened the tester tube, imagine my surprise when the product was GREEN! I immediately put it back and walked away;  green was a bit too outside my comfort-zone. A few days later, while surfing youtube (as you do), an advert for the very same product popped up; imagine my surprise when the color actually turned PINK!!!
