One of my newer purchases has been the Barry M Lip Paint. When I bought some for my cosuins birthday in September I noticed one in very different packaging. When I opened the tester tube, imagine my surprise when the product was GREEN! I immediately put it back and walked away; green was a bit too outside my comfort-zone. A few days later, while surfing youtube (as you do), an advert for the very same product popped up; imagine my surprise when the color actually turned PINK!!!
The product I'm talking is the Barry M Lip Paint, in the shade #426 Genie. The outer packaging is very eye-catching. The top cap is pink while the bottom is green, hinting towards it's dual colors.
The lip paint glides on smoothly in one even pink color. It develops over a period of time to become super pigmented, which is due to the color changing formula which factors in the pH of your lips. The lip paint is also VERY moisturizing; I quite expected my lips to dry out within the hour.
The Genie lip paint is also very long lasting. The glossy effect fades after a couple of hours but the rich pink hue remains all nigh long. The lip paint seems to contain properties which stain the surface of your lips.
On the other hand that also means that any 'oopsies' cannot be easily changed and you will spend ages swiping away at a small spot with a remover wipe.
The Barry M #428 Genie Lip Paint can be found in both Boots and Superdrug for £4.49, which I think is an absolute bargain.
