Kat Von D Rock Candy Studded Kiss Lipstick Set

Now, I'm not one for super unusual or funky coloured lipsticks but when I saw this Kat Von D Rock Candy Studded Kiss Lipstick Set in Debenhams last month, I just had to buy it. The only lip products that I had tried previously from Kat Von D were the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, so I was super excited to try something new.

Maybelline ColourSensational Lipstick in Honey Beige

Nude lipsticks. What can I say? Sometimes trying to find the right nude for your complexion can seem like a daunting task. I know that I, personally, am always on that hunt for the perfect nude lipstick. One that's not to deep or pastel, and neither too brown or pink toned; just that perfect middle ground that seems impossible to find. This brings me to my newest nude lipstick, the Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in Honey Beige.

MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Driftwood

I'm back after a long month long hiatus! To make the story short, I have been seriously struggling with finishing University and trying to decide what I'm now going to do with my life. The pressure got a little too much and so I've been living under a rock until now. Like, total social media blackout. I've also struggled with inspiration, and just generally feeling 'blue'. But I'm back and making the attempt to get back into the swing of things.

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

April Monthly Beauty Favourites

Hi guys, remember me! Yeah, it's been a while since I've uploaded a post. I'm so sorry. April was a very busy month for me, preparing for my final exams. Fortunately, I only have two left and then I'm a slave to my blog again. I have a very large backlog of posts that I am so eager to share with you all. It's the start of May so I thought I'd sit down and do my April Beauty Favourites. I feel like I've been using some great products!

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Big Bang (+ matching lipliner!)

Have you ever just looked at a lipstick and thought, 'You're so unwearable but I must have you in my collection'? Yeah. We have all been there, whether it's that totally one trend black lippie or a big, bold navy blue. Well I hadn't, not until I met my match last week.  I was browsing the stand for Urban Decay's new collection of Vice lipsticks. Now they are not totally new to me, they were in Sephora when I was in America at June, but I had never had enough time just to browse over all the new colours. I mean, there are a HUNDRED new shades! Needless to say, after a solid half an hour of studying all the shades, I flounced into my University lecture with two new impulse buys. All because I have no self control. I may have to start walking the long route to class and avoiding Debenhams altogether.

Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in 'Edition'

I like liquid lipsticks. The idea of applying it once and not having to really ever hour is my kind of idea. I'm totally lazy like that. I don't have to worry that it's becoming too faded or patchy, and at most I will only have to reapply after a heavy meal.  When I see the brand 'Hourglass' I think high-end, luxury products; it's sone of the brand that I fell everyone needs to try once. I picked up an Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick and an Ambient Lighting Powder as my first 'dip. into the brand.

My MAC Collection Part Two

This is the second part of my MAC collection; seven shades out of the thirteen I own. The first part of my collection was my reds and nudes, and this part is my pink and purple shades.

My MAC Collection Part One

I though that I'd share with you all my MAC lipstick collection. I, personally, love these types of posts as it's less about the accumulative collection and more about showing off the swatches. I want this post to help those who are away to buy a new MAC lipstick and are unsure of what shade looks good.

Bite Beauty Frozen Berries Matte Creme Lipstick in Elderberry

I've been siting on the limited edition Bite Beauty Frozen Berries Matte Creme Lipstick in the shade Elderberry since late summer when I picked it up at Sephora. I have been loving it since the start of the Autumn/Winter season; the colour didn't feel appropriate for use until then. Elderberry was one of the only shades left in the collection, but that was fine as I was totally on a dark berry/ purple lip colour kick.

Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Susperia

I'm not gonna lie; I bought a lot of makeup over in America. Many of the next post will involve products that may only be available in the States (to my knowledge!). I went to the Sephora in the Florida Mall and they were nearly cleared out of all the shades of the Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, so I had limited choice. That's not to say that I'm unhappy with what I picked(in fact, I really love it), I was just disappointed a bit.

So Hard to Resist

I have had this little ditty in my possession for a couple of months now, and I love it so much that I just had to share it. It's become my everyday shade when I can't be bothered to make anymore effort than is actually necessary.

New Favourite Lipstick

I bought a new MAC Lippie! Then again that's no surprise, I can't go any longer than a couple of weeks without splurging. It's a problem I need cured of...

BareMinerals 'In the Spotlight'

The bareMinerals 'In the Spotlight' was one of those gifts that you really wanted to buy back at Christmas but something else caught your eye. Then your all sad because it was limited edition and you can't buy it anymore. I was very fortunate to find this in my local Tk Maxx; unlike some others I got that second chance to buy this even after it became no longer available. The original retail price was £49.00, but it was reduced down t0 £29.99!

Rihanna Viva Glam Keepsakes Bag

I'm super upset that it's taken me sooo long to write up a post on the most amazing things that I bought during the Christmas period. I'd like to take this moment and introduce you all to my MAC Keepsakes Viva Glam Bag. *pause while Angels sing in a harmonious choir*

MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lipstick in #833 Rosewood

I have to talk about my new favourite everyday  lipstick!  The golden metallic case makes the product feel very luxurious and, when I got this, it was the only one in gold I owned which made it stand out. It doesn't feel like it's a cheap material either.

Get the Disney Look: Rapunzel

Bandeau dress  £225 / Miu Miu platform ankle boots  £600 / Franchi hard clutch  £34 / Oval ring  £75 / Blue Nile pendant jewelry   £180   A different take on my prior Rapunzel look. As with the other, it was inspired by Rapunzel from the Disney movie 'Tangled'.

Clothing and Beauty Haul

A little exam procrastination! I have my Psychology final today, and I'm at that point where I not longer care what will happen. That does not bode well considering that my attendance was sketchy at best. I just want to pass, I don't care about the grade I get. So, anyway. I had a bit of another shopping trip todayyy! I hit up my most favourite store in the world, TK Maxx, and also, as strange as it may seem; my workplace. I work at a national store known as Store 21; it only opened back in March. It is a bit of a value store, specialising in homeward and womenswear, but also selling menswear, childrenswear, nightwear, lingerie and shoes. A little mix of everything. It's a bit like TK Maxx; either a bit or a miss. Store 21 I got this totally cute knitted waffle jumper! It's so warm and snuggl y; perfect for the winter weather. It's actually a baby powder blue, instead of the blue-grey it is in the picture. It is currently on 30% of...

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.  Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I kn...

Fun in November

It's finally November and you know what that means, Christmas preparations are under way. I really enjoy it when the evenings become shorter and the tree are bare, it screams to me ‘winter is almost upon us’. With the onset of the colder months come some of my favourite things:
