Hi :)
Soo I was in Florida during the summer and, as one does on holiday in a place where the shopping is fantastic, I went a bit spree mad. One of the things that I bought were the MAC Holiday Ice Parade Mineralize Brush Set. Now they were bought as part of a larger makeup set from a shop in the Orlando Premium Outlets (Top of I-Drive, not near Seaworld) called The Beauty Store, I think. I didn't realize that they were in the package until I got back to the hotel and opened it up.
One back in Scotland I decide to look them up and then I realized that they were from the 2011 holiday season, which made me really happy as none of my makeup crazed family could get them.
The outer packaging was nice (no pic). It was an icy white box with metallic sliver pattern effect, which was nice and inside was the bag. Honesty, the bag is not my biggest like of the set. It's quite small for me as I travel with a LOT of stuff, and the extended zipper makes for a hard time opening up.On the other hand, the bag is clear, which makes it easy to see what's inside and a compact mirror can be stored behind the sliver disc.
Now the brushes, I LOVED!! They are totally my style<3 I'm not familiar with the MAC brushes but these seem more travel sized than regular. The handles are so cute; clear and glittery (Unique!).
The MAC 187SE is what I currently use for my liquid foundation, although originally I used it for my powder. The large brush just makes my foundation seem 'better' and glide on smoother than with just using my fingers.
The MAC 130SE I don't actually use as I don't know what to use it for. It would have been good for powers, blushers, bronzers etc, if it was only a teeny bit bigger.
The MAC 282SE and MAC 286SE are just regular brushes that I like to use for eye-shadows etc.
Overall, I super love these brushes and, actually I am waiting on a delivery of the MAC Iced Delights Lip Bag because I love what I have from the collection so far.
Louise x x
p.s. please excuse the poor state of my nails ;)
